Chamber Made Additional Proposals for Improving the Commercial Register
Recently, the Chamber sent to the Ministry of Justice six proposals for changing the Commercial Register. The Chamber received additional ideas from its members for making the Commercial Register and Entrepreneur Portal more entrepreneur-friendly, improving the convenience of use of the systems and offering better services to entrepreneurs. Therefore the Chamber submitted additional proposals to the Ministry.
- Recording the prohibition on business in the Commercial Register. It should be visible for everyone from the Commercial Register if prohibition on business has been imposed on a member of the managing or control body of a company.
- “Who viewed my data”. The Chamber does not see the need to update the Commercial Register with a solution according to which each person has the possibility to see who viewed their data. Due to the fact that the data of the Commercial Register is public, it may be presumed that everyone can view the data.
- Availability of data. According to the Commercial Register, all data could be available, in terms of volume and time, to regular consumers as well as machine interfaces. For example, information on the recipients of e-invoices is not available through the machine interface. The contents of the register kept by the state should be available for all interested parties.
- Process of correcting the Registry errors. The Chamber made a proposal to create a possibility that upon correcting or changing the data, the person paying for the data could have the possibility to receive them automatically and without asking for an additional fee. The list of the changes should be together with the reason and date of the correction.
