The National Defence Promotion Foundation delivered its twenty-second aid shipment to the Ukrainian National Guard in cooperation with the Chamber
On March 31, the National Defence Promotion Foundation handed over various equipment worth €217,211 to the Ukrainians at the Poland-Ukraine border. This is the second shipment of 2025 that the Foundation has delivered to its partners. This time, the shipment focused on technical assistance tools, mainly drones and battery stations for the units of the Ukrainian National Guard.
The director of the National Defence Promotion Foundation, Mait Palts, thanked the donors and partners for their continued support. “Every donor's contribution enhances Ukraine's combat capability and thus significantly helps preserve our own freedoms in the future,” said Palts, adding that the recent months have been complex both in terms of the war and long-term security, bringing a lot of misinformation. “As Estonians, we understand and realistically assess the threats from our eastern neighbor and know well that only strength is understood across the border. Therefore, continued support for Ukraine is critically important for achieving lasting peace and a victory on their terms,” he stated.
On March 31, various equipment worth €217,211.87 was handed over to the regional chambers of commerce in Dnipro and Chernihiv, Ukraine. These chambers will further deliver the supplies to the units of the Ukrainian National Guard, who had submitted their requests to the Estonians. Since the beginning of the war, the National Defence Promotion Foundation has delivered 22 aid shipments to Ukraine.
The largest aid items included:
- DJI Mavic Pro drones – 55 units;
- Battery stations – 64 units;
- Sleeping bags – 50 units;
- Sleeping pads – 300 units;
- Various medical supplies – 4 pallets;
- Tactical food packages – 2,462 servings;
- Electric generators – 8 units.
All the equipment delivered to the Ukrainians has been purchased from Estonia in cooperation with Estonian entrepreneurs or donated by companies and organizations. The Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia also assisted in compiling the shipment. Vans for the delivery were provided by United Motors, Veho, and City Motors.
As of March 31, a total of €5,973,601.22 has been raised in support of Ukraine. More information about the campaign can be found at riigikaitse.ee.
