An organisation was founded to strengthen trade relations between Estonia and Australia
The Australian launch event of the EACCI (Estonian Australian Club of Commerce and Industry), an organisation that seeks to strengthen trade and investment ties between Estonia and Australia, was held at the Sydney Estonian House on Thursday, 16 August. EACCI is the framework for establishing the Estonian Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to Virge Nielsen, an EACCI board member, the new organisation is being established with the objective to facilitate trade and investment between Estonia and Australia as well as to provide networking opportunities among the business communities of the two countries. ‘The EACCI, founded on the initiative of Sulev Kalamäe, Estonian Honorary Consul in Sydney, will elevate the trade and business relations between the two countries to a new level as well as formalise the establishment of Estonian Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry,’ Nielsen said.
The Estonian launch of EACCI took place in Tallinn on 18 July. And on Thursday, 16 August, its launch was celebrated with Australian partners in the Sydney Estonian House. The organisation’s members and supporters represented across the two events include the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Enterprise Estonia and the e-residency programme, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, Estonian Embassy in Canberra, Sydney Estonian Society, European Australian Business Council, Department of Finance of Australian Government, Estravel, Aero Travel and many other organisations that are interested in strengthening business relations between Estonia and Australia.
The EACCI (Estonian Australian Club of Commerce and Industry) is an organisation established in order to strengthen trade and investment ties between Estonia and Australia, and is the framework for establishing Estonian Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
