Thermory is entering the US wellness market
Thermory, the world’s largest manufacturer of thermally modified wood and sauna materials is making a strong entrance in the US wellness market by partnering up with Accurate Industries, the leading distributor of saunas in America.
Thermory recently presented its new Barrel saunas at the at the IBS International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida. IBS International Builders Show is the building industry’s largest annual trade show and exhibition. “The show was very successful and I think it put Thermory’s name out there more for people who aren’t familiar with us or what we do. Thermal modification is becoming more and more popular and it gave us a chance to also explain key differences between us and our competitors”, said Andres Kangur, Thermroy Group Marketing Director.
The Barrel saunas are manufactured by VMS Timber, a Latvian sawmill where Thermory acquired a 100% stake in January 2022. Thermory is investing in VMS Timber more than 2 million euros in the upcoming years to increase sawing capacity and production of saunas and small houses.
Thermory's subsidiary Auroom Wellness participated in the Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City in January, where their most popular design saunas - Lumina and Nativa - were presented. The fair proved successful as Auroom’s product design and quality were outstanding.
Thermory is a chemical-free wood processing company founded in Estonia in 1997, which produces decking boards, exterior and interior cladding boards, sauna material and ready-made saunas using thermal modification technology.
The company’s production units are in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Belarus. In addition, the company has sales units in the United States and Germany. The group employs 830 people and the turnover in 2021 was over 140 million euros.
