The experience of foreign recruitment of Malwarebytes will be shared by the Tallinn office manager Fernando Francisco and recruiter Elvi Jaska.

Malwarebytes is an international business and has a team of 800 workers by now. Our headquarters is located in San Francisco, California. Other bigger offices are located in Clearwater, Cork, and also Tallinn.
We expanded to Estonia in May 2016 and by now, we have 60 employees. Many of the top specialists have been recruited from different countries - Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Italy, Romania, and also England.
There are several reasons why we place such importance in foreign recruitment. The main reason is the field in which we are active and thus, it has been a great challenge to find workforce with the necessary competence.
Due to lack of top developers in Estonia and other Baltic states, the salary levels have risen remarkably. The salary expectations have reached the same level as in Western Europe, which is why our goal is not to search from other Estonian businesses, but recruit suitable top developers from foreign countries. Owing to the recruitment partners in Russia, Ukraine, but also Estonia, we can help balance the salary levels in the local market. It is also worth mentioning that the interest in moving to Estonia has grown considerably.
