Joint trade mission to Vietnam, with focus on public procurements

Public tenders in Vietnam are an attractive but too often overlooked opportunity for EU companies as they make up 39% of GDP and are the perfect foot in the door for expanding in this market of 100 million people. Moreover, as an EU company, public tenders in Vietnam are more accessible to you due to the Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

However, winning such a tender as a foreign company requires thorough preparation. Luckily EU funded project GOOSE, under the leadership of Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) in Vietnam is happy to support you in finding local partners, overcoming the language barrier, handling your administrative responsibilities and, of course, finding the tenders themselves.

That’s why we’re organizing a physical mission to Vietnam within the framework of GOOSE project, together with 4 project partners. We will put you in touch with local companies and institutions which are vital partners for winning these tenders. FIT’s local office in Hanoi will also be available both during and after the mission so you will be able to count on local support.

The mission is for companies from ICT, green economy, smart health, and smart city sectors.

The mission will take place on 19th -22nd March 2024.

Costs: GOOSE project covers an on-site business program. Participants pay for their flights, accommodation, and other travel-related expenses.

Companies from the four countries where the project partners are located (Estonia, Belgium, Spain, and Croatia) can participate. GOOSE consortium will reserve the right to choose the participants according to their readiness to enter the market and their suitability to the program. The GOOSE consortium consists of four European project partners: Agència per a la Competitivitat de l'Empresa (ACCIÓ), Spain; Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Estonia; Flanders Invest & Trade (FIT), Belgium; Croatian Employers' Association (HUP), Croatia.
