- Round table: Decreasing trust in government - a downward trend or temporary fluctuation?

Round table: Decreasing trust in government - a downward trend or temporary fluctuation?
Did you know that according to data from a recent OECD study, people's faith in government organizations is decreasing? This is not the case for Estonia, but the trend is global.
It has been discussed that one of the reasons for this is social media and the false information that is widely spread there. But this is certainly not the only reason.
It is enough to think about the security of gas supply and everyone will have their own narrative about how and what the public sector could/should have acted differently.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Center for International Private Enterprise (hereinafter CIPE) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) invites you to discuss this topic and develop recommendations and future scenarios from the perspective of the private sector and other stakeholders. This conversation will inform CIPE’s work on enhancing trust in business and governments globally and the upcoming OECD Global Forum on Building Trust and Reinforcing Democracy in Luxembourg.
Come and take part in the discussion!
