RECORDING: Successful export in EU: Intellectual property, SME rights and support services
The aim of the training is to raise awareness about European Union (EU) support measures that allow small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to grow and benefit from the EU single market. In the webinar we will speak about the rights of SMEs in the single market, provide advice on intellectual property (IP) and explain the importance of protecting IP rights as well as provide an overview of effective IP disputes resolution and IP strategy. The seminar will also introduce different opportunities provided by Enterprise Europe Network – the largest business support network in EU. We will also discuss practices of cross-boarder e-signatures.

10.30 | PART 1: Intellectual Property SMEs account for 99% of all businesses in the EU. Only about 9% of SMEs have registered their intellectual property rights. The first part of the seminar explains in more detail why it is necessary to think about IP and IP rights, how to protect them and how it is possible to resolve IP disputes effectively. In addition, we provide an overview of various IP support services. |
