Liviko expanded its range of beverages with the introduction of non-alcoholic Vana Tallinn Glögi
Liviko, which celebrated its 125th anniversary this autumn, is famous for its range of strong alcoholic beverages. Now, the company is broadening its portfolio with a growing selection of non-alcoholic beverages, which have been earning high praise for their exceptional quality and delightful flavours.
Liviko is constantly developing exquisite new taste experiences. This winter, it launched non-alcoholic Vana Tallinn Glögi, a rich, warming drink ideal for chilly winter evenings.
Vana Tallinn Glögi is the most popular and beloved glögg in Estonia, and now it is available without alcohol. This new non-alcoholic option is crafted from the same extracts as the classic Vana Tallinn liqueur, blended with cranberry juice and just a touch of high-quality red wine. The product may contain trace amounts of alcohol due to the use of alcohol-based natural extracts.
A growing non-alcoholic range
In recent years, Liviko has expanded its portfolio with a variety of new non-alcoholic products and zero-alcohol additions to its top brands.
The non-alcoholic range features Estonia’s first non-alcoholic aperitif Corsaro Aperitivo, the ginger beverage Ginger Duke, innovative soft drinks like Re-crafted Crafter’s Junibeer and Re-crafted Crafter’s Gingeroot, which both are made from the by-products of gin distillation, and the newly introduced non-alcoholic Vana Tallinn Glögi.
Success and exclusivity in Dubai
Liviko’s latest offering, Crafter’s Golden Saffron Gin, is exclusively available through Dubai Duty Free, one of the world’s largest duty-free operators. With its eye-catching design and stunning fusion of crisp Nordic flavours with exotic oriental notes, this unique gin has been warmly received in Dubai.
Following distillation, this Nordic gin undergoes a seven-day infusion with saffron. The spice gives the gin with a beautiful golden-yellow hue, along with a gentle warmth and subtle spicy aftertaste. The crisp and herbaceous Nordic gin is softened by the fairytale of the east – red gold saffron, mythical lotus flower and citrusy mandarin peel – while the gingerroot’s spiciness is balanced by sweet and earthy orris root. The outcome is an exclusive and luxurious experience for gin enthusiasts.
An abundance of awards – From Europe to Asia
This year, Liviko has picked up medals and praise at competitions in its home market and internationally throughout Europe and Asia.
Vana Tallinn liqueurs and Crafter’s gins have been awarded by experts and connoisseurs both on juries and in blind tastings. In the non-alcoholic category, Ginger Duke, Corsaro Aperitivo and the non-alcoholic Vana Tallinn Glögi have all received commendations.
Liviko’s beverages have successfully competed in prestigious events such as ‘The Liqueur Masters 2023’, ‘The Gin Masters 2023 – Asia’ and the ‘Singapore World Spirits Competition (SWSC)’, as well as in the highly anticipated national competitions for the best Estonian food product and the best Estonian drink.
New markets in 2023 – A first in South America
This year, Liviko opened up new markets in South America, starting with exports to Uruguay and Paraguay. The company has also strengthened its presence in European and Asian markets. New export destinations this year include Sweden, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Bulgaria, Serbia, South Korea, Japan and Mongolia.
Liviko’s beverages are now in 70 markets worldwide, spanning from New Zealand to Paraguay.
