We opened the Business Season 2023/2024

On August 26, we opened a new business season at TalTech. Traditionally, the opening speech was delivered by the chairman of the board of the Chamber of Commerce, Toomas Luman, who pointed out the current tax and public finance bottlenecks, emphasizing that in today's complex geopolitical situation, we must rethink our competitive advantages and redefine them in several aspects. The guests were able to take part in educational workshops, familiarize themselves with the activities of our cooperation partners, hear a discussion on education with Grete Arro, and a speech by Elinor Toming, head of the Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund, about cooperation between the Development Fund and entrepreneurs. Mihkel Raud performed as the main speaker.

During the event, the FitSphere step competition took place, which was by far won by Annika Lepik (23,196 steps). Among those who visited its tent, SIXT raffled off a travel suitcase and the right to use a car for the weekend, which was won by Merike Pärn. The main prize of the business card raffle - a travel package offered by Estravel and Finnair - was won for the second year in a row by Andres Nõgisto from Andi Retro OÜ.
