Young Entrepreneur Award Is Looking for Candidates
The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Swedbank are inviting young Estonian entrepreneurs who are up to 30 years (included) of age, to apply for the 5000-euro Young Entrepreneur Award. The award and the title will be given to the winner by President Kersti Kaljulaid at the Estonian Entrepreneurship Awards gala on 5 October.
Last year the title was awarded to the founder and owner of Taxify OÜ Markus Villig. In his opinion, participating in the competition was truly justified. “The Young Entrepreneur award gives a starting manager confidence and great recognition that in the future facilitates winning employees and customers,” said Villig.
The Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition is meant for the owners and managers of companies registered in Estonia who are up to 30 years old (including), who stand out for ensuring the success of their company, innovative use of their products, services or technologies and who are already exporting or have export potential.
The title of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year means a lot of media coverage, publicity and recognition in public and business circles. Additionally, it will create better opportunities for promoting your business.
To apply, send a digitally signed application form and motivation letter to konkurss[at]koda.ee by 10 September. Entrepreneurs can set up their candidature themselves, but a candidate can also be submitted by the employees, clients or specialised organisations etc. The winner is selected from among the applicants by a committee consisting of the representatives of the organising organisations and entrepreneurs. The Award is funded by Swedbank Eesti AS.
This is the third year for the Young Entrepreneur Award. In 2015, the title and award were given to Indrek Ulst from Mooncascade OÜ, in 2016, Markus Villig from Taxify OÜ was recognised.
